It was just pointed out to me that H insinuated online that he essentially was with AP all last week out of state. I had assumed it was just for his weekend and I suppose this means he lied when he told me his medical condition had caused him to use up all of his vacation and sick time so that missing work means losing money, he can't pay his bills and may have to go into bankruptcy. He only moved out the first week of January. So if he took a week off work to go be with AP my observations are- he is possibly lying about his medical condition, he is lying about using up leave time, he doesn't have paid leave and he is purposely missing work to tactically put himself in an even worse financial situation as part of the game being played, he ferreted away secret money to fund the off time and expedition or a combination of these things.

You have to remember when it comes to obstinate, cheating spouses they lie. Cheating is by the very definition dishonest. So yes, he lied, lies, is lying and will continue to lie. The only thing you can trust is consistent behavior.
Even if he was only with AP for the weekend, is that acceptable? How does the entire week make it worse? Further how does lying about it (which they all do) make it any worse?

JTO - you were and still are married to a con-artist. Just from the things you write on here I can see it a mile away. I know you want to believe someone you once loved and perhaps still do. However, if he had eggs for breakfast he'd likely lie and say it was pancakes. It's who he is. Con artists roll through live playing their con game. I'm sick (when really he is not), I am disabled, (when really he just has an illness) I can't work (when really he is completely capable of work. I quit my job (when really he was fired).
I am so happy to hear that you are closer to getting legal representation. I can only hope it's of the highest quality and even more hope that it's not too late. Uncovering the cons can get very expensive and be difficult.
You seem so trusting and believing, so willing to accept whatever it he is spews. My heart breaks for you and he continues to run his con at your expense. Legal representation cannot come soon enough for you.
