Gratitude-Medicine for the soul

I am grateful for the wonderful week that I have had with friends and D17.

I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in activities such as an escape room, paintball and indoor skydiving with d17.

I am grateful that d5 makes her mother allow her to call me and text her sister to stay in communication with us. She misses us, in spite of having fun with her mother and grandparents.

I don't know how I've missed this thread... I keep a gratitude journal next to my bed that I try to write in daily... why not share?

I am grateful for my disappointments, my adversary, and my sadness... for without them, I could never know what really matter the most to me.

-less abdominal pain and cramps today, recovering nicely
-glad my family's back from vacation (so they can take care of me!)

Grateful that d17 is finding ways to get through her anxiety attacks on her own and confidently.

Grateful that I will see d5 in 2 more days.

Grateful for my health and the opportunity to work out daily and the positive affects it is having on my mental well being.

-My work now knows about my recent emergency surgery and they're being understanding about it

I am grateful for friends, new and old, and the support they have given me.

I am grateful for laughter and the chance to share it with others.

I am grateful for the opportunity to spend an evening with other people who are hurting and healing, just as I am, and that we all can feel safe enough to share and support each other.
