Never argued in our 20 years. When she left, she said she wanted to do 2 week bike rides across Italy, 10 day hiking/camping trips on the AT trail, etc... I don't have 1 day camping trips as a frame of reference. I never said no, but my indifference or lack of interest was telling. Come to me with facts -- daily mileage, equipment costs, logistics, etc... Not just dreamy stuff.

Besides, most of it is stuff she has never done before, but fascinated with. She's a dive headfirst in, ask questions later kind of person. I like to analyze stuff 1st, which comes off as hesitation.

Her splitting here is diving headfirst, not thinking. Typical of her personality. I guess I should have amused all those wild ideas just to keep her around. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

To add to the confusing emails, she's been out of the house for going on 7 weeks and she sends an email yesterday asking if the cleaning service cleaned last week, or was it this week.

I responded a few hours later saying I had their contact info now, no worries.

Earlier in the day, she said she'd come by and organize her clothes that I moved to the guest bedroom. Organize?

There's been no relationship talk, but that's what I am supposed to not be doing according to LRT. Still, the small talk is confusing. I guess I shouldn't read into at all.

GAL today, another 5 mile walk with friend after work. Might be a rainy one too, and that's quite all right. It's better than being in the house.

Last night's 5 mile walk was nice. And for some reason, I was able to get some sleep last night after waking in the middle of the night several times. I could tell it was anxiety related, but I rolled over, closed my eyes and forced myself back to sleep. Not a great night of sleep, but better.

One thing that helped, my walking partner has been telling me to quit thinking about why this all happened, quit trying to put all the pieces together looking for a solution. He said just think about right now.

Still no movement on R. Wife still contacting daily for one reason or another.

Reading, reading, reading...books, message boards, all sorts of info online. One thing I happened across today reminded me of a conversation I had with my wife almost 3 weeks ago at our last meeting was she said her head felt like it was in a fog. She was looking at a menu and claimed she thought she needed reading glasses (she's 43), or it could just be the foggy head.

Reading some MLC info, and that seems to be a common theme -- a fog.

The Bach's Rescue Remedy worked like a champ, 2-3 sprays at bedtime and I slept from 10:30 to 5:15.

2 full glasses of wine and another 2-3 sprays of Bach's meant another great night of sleep.
