Part 8 - Contents May Have Settled

We're on 96 posts on my last thread so starting a new one before it locks up.

We've just been discussing the meanings of dropping the rope vs giving up and our various inner shadows that make up our personalities and how each is reacting or helping in db.

well I like to let a little of my oddness leak into my postings.

Well edz without blood pressure we all fall down. Trust me I have the other end to high blood pressure, and falling down and being unable to stand at times or function is tough.

It means often you can't think straight, or string the words together. A problem h used to hammer me for. Even tho he knew. They can't medicate for low pressure, they recommend doing stuff that elevates it, like coffee, like eating salt, etc.

Yup its all under control nowadays especially since the weight started coming off, dont need to take anything now (unless you keep mentioning exposed legs and thighs of course )

H used to chasten you for that? Good grief, that's low.

He wasn't the best at empathy nor supportive in the same way as most.

In a way he knows he would not want it done to him but doesn't undertsand why that same rule don't cut both ways.

The whole was thing, I can cheat but God help you if you did.
I can behave like an a$$hat, but God help anyone else who does.

Hey I don't think I was perfect either, I didn't speak, to stop arguments. I listened to spew constantly.

I liked the previous discussion about dropping the rope vs giving up and our various inner shadows. I'm still thinking through my shadows. I know one: Griselda Grim. She's been with me since childhood. I suspect she and Vanilla's Screaming Banshee would love hanging out together. She doesn't come out much these days, partly because there are fewer interactions to get riled up over.

The analogies for dropping the rope etc reminded me of one I read in a book by David Scharch. He says its a misconception that H & W are in the same boat when they are married. Actually they are in separate boats and when the M is good they chose to paddle along together, share supplies etc. You can try to steer the other persons boat but in the end you can only control yours, and they theirs. When things go bad they drift apart or even set sail in different directions.

I quite liked that analogy. I'm still hoping that H and I will make it through these rough sees and re-group on the other side. If we do R then it will still be important to remember that we're in separate boats, though.

Yeah, it was a good discussion.

I love being home alone atm, a mate asked when s17 is coming back and how I will make him.etc.

I'm just not motivated to have anyone else in my space. I'm really enjoying it. I'm not actually sure why I want any sort of male intrusion in my space. As far as meeting a np.

I like the idea of having a ship that no one wants to sink and I'm really truely fine with that. before I was like speed this up hurry this up.

Now I'm like, get out of my way, don't get in my way just cruise alone will be totally fine.
