Well, we are still going on our platonic "dates" on average twice a week. But this includes church a lot of times too. He also shocked the hell out of me by putting me as beneficiary on his insurance and 401k. I wanted a man's perspective, so I talked to a mutual friend (a guy who he hasn't kept in touch with all this time either) about this, and he says that Ex is probably feeling massive guilt and is making no moves on me because he wants to go very slowly. Whatever. Right now, I am in observation mode. We have a night out at a blues club planned for next week with me, Ex, our mutual friend, and his gf.
It definitely sounds like he's making moves towards you. It sounds like your doing things right.
I'm wondering.....has he talked to you at all about the status of his relationship with his daughter?
