FB opened Jo to his info. Being a tad curious, I saw how he was going on about being a dad to four great kids and now two step kids. Acting as if they were the Brady bunch...they are rarely together! Anyhow he mentioned how his wife is the love of his life and she completes him. While I am thinking how cliche that is and also how insecure he is alone, I felt a bit hurt.

Lesson learned to not snoop, it just brings up old wounds.

Nicked it more like. Nothing like how it would be if it had been shortly after the divorce. I was his dream according to him so he does have a bit of sn immature view of love and relationships. When it becomes work, it won't be love anymore in his book.

Jeez Kat did we marry the same man? When it came to work, my ex thought he'd just move onto the next. I'm sorry you had to see that . I find the best way to deal with it is not to find it. I snooped too and found a pic on fb of them kissing at at their wedding. It was so staged. I felt a twinge and it went away.

And fwiw, the ones who need to publicly talk it up are the ones who need to convince themselves.

I think there's some truth to that.

What's the rationale for taking away posters ability to edit?

The mods believed that we are too immature to contact each other outside of this forum. So they took away the edit feature so no covert communications could be made.

Gineen, it really gets me when he tries to write himself up to be something he isn't. I don't know if he will ever win S19 back. S16 is sort of the class clown so he just jokes a lot when he is around his dad but he doesn't feel much of a connection. The girls are in a half love/half hate relationship with him. It makes me sad for my kids but I know this is his situation to resolve.

I haven't had any contact since before the divorce with the OW. I don't see her or ex playing a big part in their lives once their mandatory visits are done at 18. Sad but true.
