Well, I am done caring about my marriage. Don't get me wrong - I care about my family and my kids, but I have grown indifferent to the marriage. I don't care anymore. She wants out, and I am ready for her to pull the trigger.
Journal: Wife is growing increasingly frustrated with my GAL's. She does not like me coming and going as I please. I was gone most of yesterday with #2. When we returned, I mentioned to #2 that I may want to do something with him on Friday (5 days later), and wife snaps: "Well you're taking #3 with you!!" I ignored it.
And today, we had a conflict. She has something planned tonight that she didn't tell me about, and when I told her my plans, she blew up, yelling about how she has had this work event planned for weeks, blah, blah... Welcome to the world you wanted, honey...
Mark, I am so sorry. Are you abbsolutely sure about this? Remember, don't do anything for at least 24 to 48 hours. It sounds to me like she isn't really liking what she has created, i.e., your GAL. It's getting to her, maybe you should rethink?

Has she tried writing things down on a calendar? We have one on a pin board in the kitchen so everyone can write down their arrangements and we can work round one another.

Luv- Am I sure about this? She has told me that she no longer wants to be married to me. I am sure she said it, and I am sure she means it. Not sure what I should rethink. Rethink not caring? That's not going to happen. If I start caring again, I am only setting myself up for more pain. I kinda like it right here.
Saffie- We have a calendar. She doesn't always keep it up to date. Do I still love my wife? No, I do not love her. She has morphed into a liar, a cheater, a monster. I can't love that.
Let me be clear: For the past month or so, the only thing I have been trying to hold together is my sanity, and my kids' sanity. I am not trying to hold my marriage together. It would be an exercise in futility. I don't care anymore.
Thanks Saffie. I am at peace. It's not what I wanted, we all know that. I have resigned myself to the fact that there is nothing I can to to stop her from moving forward with her evil plan. She hasn't stopped yet, and I don't anticipate that she's going to stop (or change plans) any time soon.
Hey Mark... I hear ya. I've had some revelations over the past week that make me feel the same way. I think it helps with the detachment process. We have to be happy with ourselves before anyone else can be happy with us. I think being in as much pain as we are in causes us to lose sight of that.
