I have been in need of seeing something, anything, that could inspire me to keep going ... to keep being patience... and something that would allow me to see continued hope.

I spent most of this evening reading Jack3beans' thread from the beginning.

The post that I am linking here captures everything that I needed to feel better about what I am still doing here... why I am still fighting... and it gave me renewed hope.

Jack - I know that this the following post was not the end of your story... but it does end on a positive note...

I have respected you and what you went through for a long time now. But this post heightened that respect even more.

I hope that you do not mind me sharing this... but

it is too inspirational to be buried so far in the archives.

Thank you.

I hope I don't upset Jack, but while his story a good read it's his story and his alone. He live it, it's easy to look back at where he is at and say heck acted perfectly and did the right moves.

I think there is a danger in taking someone's story and try to mold it to fit our story and react in the same way. A big danger.

Jack has a wonderful gift to get to a point, make you think.

But in the end, he isn't superman. He backslide, he made mistakes. He is a man who went through heck.

I say this not to belittle jack. I don't want Jack to be Superman, because not everyone can be Superman.

I want Jack to be everyman(and woman) here. That's where the true inspiration works. I can't be Superman...I can be everyman.

So let's not make jacks story out to be anything more than one person's journey. Everyone of us has our own journey to take as well.

but not to
no to the contrary to say what jack did took hard work, patience

Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.
