I've been....it's great! There are many here who have experienced amazing results at Retrouvaille. The kicker is that BOTH spouses have to want to work on the R and go in with that mindset. There must not be an active A (3rd party) on either side.

The weekend event just kickstarts everything and lays some groundwork. The "real" work continues at home and at the post sessions afterward, where you will cover about 12 chapters of your workbook in 6 follow-up sessions.

Hello,

I have not posted in a long time but had some comments. For the record I successfully busted a divorce. We did attend a Retrouvaille weekend and he was still involved with the OW (I was unaware that they were back to talking). He went in thinking it'd make us better communicators as divorced parents and I think he learned some things. I say still go you never know what may happen. It's not a miracle weekend but it does teach you how to talk and LISTEN to each other.

My old posts are under 'Heartbroken' - I am not so much anymore.

I posted in Feb 2007 - 2008 I think...

Not HB anymore!

Heartbroken,

Great to hear --wonderful news for you~
I've heard such wonderful things about the weekend. I'm hopeful he will want to attend. If we get those two things alone out of the weekend "to talk and listen" then it was a success.

I highly recommend the program. My h and I just completed the weekend and it's amazing. A great beginning step to work on your marriage. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Well H newest text is:

My H has been calling/texting me each day. Refusal to leave me alone. His latest round of text said:

I'm not looking for anyone. I never said I was happy. I'm am just moving on. I need to sell our house too many memories here. I filled out paperwork for working in Canada. I"m going to make some good money. You and our son will never go wtihout as long as I'm alive. I would live in an apt so he could have pool in his backyard. You are going to look back and be happy. You're going to find mr right, me on the other hand I am just going to work to make sure you two have a good life.

ANYONE help me here???
