My daughter's best friend's (her friend since grade school) dad died today.

If you have known me on the board, please pray for all related.

We are heartbroken. I love my daughters friend and family soo much.

You learn to love your children's friends as your own and your children learn to love their friends parents as their own and we are all intermingled. We all love each other and we all share broken hearts together.

When we don't get the miracle we envision, we know there's something yet to be seen, we shall be like HIM, and for we shall see him face-to-face.

So, I'm not completely logical but I'm asking for prayers, and sending mine for you and your own heartache....

love to all of you,
sg wink

Many thoughts and prayers coming your way sg. This happended to me when I was 11...best friend's dad passed away, very rough on everyone. I know the pain...and I can relate. God has many lessons for all of us...and all of life's lessons only make us stronger.

Hang in there my friend, stay strong for your daughter, she's going to need it.

I so appreciate it. I'm so sorry for your own pain.

My own father died of alcholism when I was 21. My mother had died previously of a brain anyeurism when I was 20.

Thank you for your kindness, I will never forget it.

sg, I'm so sorry. Am sending up a prayer for your daughter and her friend, and both families. What a hard thing to deal with.
