Part 7 - Caution Contents May Be Under Pressue

Wow, thread locked in a week that's somewhat of a record for me.

Don't think I need another recap unless anyone would like me to, there's a good one on the first post above.

Crimeny just got back from a windswept walk to the shops to get a sieve (Spicy rice and pork tonight, used a muslin and colander last time but it was a serious mess for the sake of a sieve - see previous postings as to why I don't have one wink ) having survived Christmas and New Year the shops are now after me with flippin' Valentines Day cards, arghh another question to ponder whether to acknowledge that with w or not.

No, not really that concerned w was never a huge fan of valentines anyway, I'll see how its all going when we're in *the same month as valentines day* wink

Had to react quick in the discount shop though, 6 pack of tunnocks chocolate teacakes viciously threw themselves into my basket and insisted I buy them. I've detained them temporarily in the treats cupboard for observation....and possible eating.

Yes, I averted my eyes from a big stand of Valentines cards the other day - and thought - Oh no, just made it through Xmas and that's on the horizon. Well, we can all have a day of love on the forum, and I'm sure there will be plenty of postings about recognising (or not) the day itself.

Good job with those lively teacakes!

Brrrrrrrr well we now have sleet coming in down here and its cold, nothing like the ice storms being discussed elsewhere but for southern england brrrrrrrrrrrrr

W called this afternoon asking had I seen a tape measure, found it in my tool chest where its always been, think i was being teased with pinching my tape measure comments, didn't take them as serious either way.

W was talking about clearing out cupboards and bits and bobs (old printer stuff - I dont need, happy to pick it up or dump it but suggested she put it on ebay as she may get something for it she's going to give that a go) we also had a bit of a chat, what each of us is making for dinner, my attack by unruly Teacakes etc (see above).

Was a nice chat, felt bitter-sweet though I suppose its just very cold dark and I miss company and conversation like that. No mistakes not where I was Im not in the depths, just wonder can we get to a point of reconciliation. She seems pretty embedded into her "clear out of things Ive been dragging around for years" which I cant help but think also includes yours truly.

Mind you what did I do when I moved here..

I'll take the fact that she's calling me as signs of a warmer thought for conversation rather than a text saying "you got the tape measure" which I'd probably have got in November.

It's all very confusing! confused

Well after a very poor night its a struggling morning, finally got off to sleep around 3:30 -4 am. Not sure why the brain just wouldnt shut off last night. Felt very lonely and missing female company.

MIL emailed me last night to say thank you she's got the cheque is it meant to go in now. Emailed back very clean and businesslike saying it can be presented now.

Heading off for the barbers today to get the mop on my head under control as a cut is wayyy overdue, sure that will help the PMA.

Hold edz hand, there there edz.

Here is gg 2013 valentines day

I left husband a big heart, love card framed in the past. I left it at his house.
It was delivered back to my kitchen, h was with ow!

The local greased creep offered to buy me flowers, the now famous g
Quote was after I delined saying we are not allow to take gifts from customers when he insisted was.

Go ahead, I would love to see you eat then stems and all. blush nasty but bd was only just ten days before this was the man h thought I was humping behind his back. Not true and no evidence.

Do not do as I did do as I say! Don't do anything. That is also an action.

Oh...so you are over here now. Good to know. Hoping those contents do indeed settle.

Yeah, V Day. Not looking forward to that one. There must be some subscription service that we can sign up to so we get a card on the day, no?

I forget - are you using the Headspace app? There's a great sleep meditation that does the trick for me when I'm struggling (I think it might be on soundcloud as well). Somehow having someone else tell me to switch off my toes, angles, calf etc helps to get me relaxed enough to sleep.

Will you be donating the mop to a good cause? A quick google search reveals that 10 inches is the minimum length needed for a hairpiece.

Crimeny!

I leave the thread for an hour or two and you pair are splurking coffee and discussing minimum inches, sheesh!

For information had a good mile walk up to the stylists, my hair washed and cut, so much product trying to keep it tidy no real choice, also had a style change as it was overdue.

My hair grows ridiculously fast and thick and is double crowned so I was starting to resemble a slightly grey flecked cousin it from the addams family if it wasnt gelled. Didnt help walking in after the rain and wind hit part way, was suprised they didnt say sorry you cant kip in the doorway when I walked in!

Around 2-3 inches off (hair - behave) length today but kept it slightly longer on top to shape a little grade 2 on sides and back square. Feels soooooooooooo much better, felt like I'd taken a tea cosy off! I have ears, who knew? They had enough hair left to stuff a good half dozen cushions.

V Day last year, hand made card, flower delivery and made her breakfast and cooked dinner. Year before we went away to the country and got her a Kindle. Always was the romantic one though, w used to say its the rest of the year that counts which I agree with if it was the rest of the year (ahem).

Headspace app, no, forgot with everything going on I shall do that this evening.
