Vanilla is going to bed more relaxed. It is fantastic to start a post on a high note.

Thank you for being with me today all of my DB friends. You were part of my higher power supporting me through a very tough day. I was not alone and felt all of you with me especially Edz and his 6 foot plus! H went off the "does not do ill' and tonight he is off with some OW. His new Audi driven to my holiday flat in Brighton with one of my birthday bottles of champagne. He has chosen a down day for high jinx.

All of you lot more concerned about head (ad) and tooth and me more concerned about the business end!

As I suspect problems with soup more to do with antibs than anything sinister. small ulcer bleed which is retracted and healing. Should take a couple of months but will recover. May be a small inflexible scar which will soften over time, so lots of pooh food and water, stay hydrated.

Jaw is just simply manky and weak, biopsy clear. Dentist has booked me in for May for implants and a jaw reset. This is superb news indeed and will be done at the dental hospital over 2 weeks in two operations including remedial bone strengthening. I am so pleased with this. Dentist and daughter invited me to a party on New Year's Day. Daughter (also dentist) says they are all bowled over by Vanilla PMA (and I took a big bowl of fruit for the team).

So thank you all for your support. 2015 is going to be a good year. I can tell it already.

Could a couple of you generous folk check in on Devotee as I am worried about her tonight.

Sleepy
Vanilla

Edz cross post. Thank you for asking it means so much to me.

As my thread had closed I wasn't able to post until I could open a new one. Bad timing as I need my laptop to do links on threads.

But I am relaxed and easy in my mind.

I am expecting acting out by H as he always does when I am having concerns other than H. Fortunately he is a wandering drunk tonight so the house is still, he has a fast car and an OW and a holiday flat together with my 60 birthday magnum of champagne intended for new year.

Sorry you have to be concerned about the latter v, very glad about the former :-) I noticed the thread had locked as I was about to post that with me in the treatment room it would be like having the honey monster from sugar puffs in there, that or Herman Munster wink

I just took a peek at devotees thread seems things aren't great there but saw your advice, some of us on here have issues that make my problems pale it seems frown

edz you were with me anyway. Cheered me up no end, honey monster or not.

I suspect because I had cervical cancer I was more worried about bum than mouth, although I know they are joined together, somewhere in the middle under this soon to be decreasing blubber.

You would have closed your eyes at the gory bit (removal of drain) I did!

Sounds like postive medical news all round. particularly if they get you that permenant solution for the your jaw

You must have a really good approach to people, I dont know anyone who gets on with their dentist that well!!!!

edz, isnt the honey monster the arch nemesis of dentists?

Its disappointing to hear with all you've got going on that your H would behave like that. I sometimes read these things and find it difficult to comprehend what they think they are thinking.

Vanilla as always you are a noble and postive example and great support for lots of us on here. Thank you

Vanilla,

I don't know how you manage to keep going in all of this crap going on around you. We could learn how to keep a positive attitude about many things that come our way. True grace in handling a lot of lemons. Just wow!

Willya show us how to keep a British stiff upper lip?? We Yanks aren't noted for it. wink

Nah don't get put off by the gory bits mum was a nurse and installed an interest in biology, not sure how that leapt into electronics and telecoms/computers though!

Didn't think about honey monster and teeth in that respect ha indeed that would be like a sherbert fountain with a toothbrush as the dipper! I shall just have to either be Herman Munster or hulk then but slightly less green smile

I am afraid I can't let Wonka borrow my stiff upper lip until after the op in May as I need it to keep my jaw in place and teeth from chattering!

Smiles no grins
