But just think, you'll need a good sofa for all of us to come over and watch football with you on your AWESOME new entertainment center, right? smile It's your *duty*, man!

LP, if you're willing to make the trip, I'll put a cold one in your hand when you get here!

Telemark, don't know if this helps or not. I looked for furniture on craigslist. I ended up finding a couple of places that sold decent new furniture at really low prices. It was an overstock place. That place even had it so you could look online and have it shipped to you if you wanted to.

Yes, it does seem like a waste. I agree with you.

Be sure to delete the browsing history on the notebook computer. You wouldn't want your W to see any DB browsing history on there, and get your playbook. wink

Oh, you foul tempster... smile

If there's one thing I'm good at in life, it the road trip. Been cross country more times than I can count (ok, 10-12 times). Heading to CO in three weeks, so we'll see. Have to use teh googles to figure out where in PA you were again (no need to repeat it).

We can't get Yuengling in MI, just so you know (hint hint:)

Didn't even think about Craigslist...thanks, jb. And I'm going to wipe the computer clean before I turn it over to W.

Got it, LP...stock up on Yuengling.

Is your daughter able to help with the shopping? We females are usually quite good at it, ya know!

She offered to help pick out furniture, which is good because she and I have similar tastes.

W is a professional interior designer, and very good at it, but her style and mine are very different (I am a project manager and designer in an architectural firm so I do have some background). I'm looking forward to getting the house looking like "me".

But, priorities...man-sized TV and Booyah sound system must come first!
