Yeah Scott, I second what Lissie is saying. Your in the land of plenty buddy, no reason to be discouraged. Now, back to my baseball question. I'd like your opinion.

That's pretty sick Tom. I'm usually a big fan of supply and demand handling it. But I think it's very sad that a guy like me can't even afford to take his three kids to a baseball game. Corps are willing to pay the big bucks for season ticket so it's that market that drives up the prices and supports these types of salaries. Not sure if putting a cap on them would fix that or not. But it's still sad.

Not really ticked off at her. She (apparently) arranged for it. Of course she could be lying to me and just forgot....certainly wouldn't be the first time. HA! But it's her dad's usualy self absorbed behavior. God forbit something interferes with his schedule or life. But thank you all. \:\)

That's what I thought Scott. I can't believe somebody asking for that much. Your correct about the Corps buying the tickets. I've actually been in nice box seats at a few Cavaliers Games courtesy of AT&T.

They are the ones willing to pay...which drives up the price. I think each stadium should limit how many ticket can be sold to corps....but i guess that's hard to do.

Do you remember a Movie way back in the 70's called "Rollerball" with James Caan? It was a futuristic movie about corporate controlled sporting events along with a lot of other aspects of everyday life. Talk about art imitating reality! That movie was dead on!

Hey Swashy & Tom,

We've been talking about just this all week long. I belong to Red Sox Nation and I got an e-mail last week saying that there were still tickets available through StubHub for the World series. Just for the heck of it I took a peek the cheapest seat was $849.00 and that was for an obscured view.

You have to wonder how much money is enough especially for someone like an A-Rod. I like him and all but is anyone really worth $252,000?

Hey S2H!

I'm so sorry that this happened for S5. I understand that your X 'had it covered', but sheesh. You can't be worrying all the time about that. I know exactly how that feels. I just hope that she and her dad can pull their selfish heads out before this happens again.

Just makes my blood boil.
