I think it is all about control, V. The plan isn't going how he envisioned it, I am not giving up my wants and needs to do what is easiest for him. He is using the money as a way to jab at me.

I am of no help on the money issues, other than things dont have to be done a certain way because that is what HE wants. If your L can handle it, fantastic! I applied for child support the day I knew it was over, before he even moved out.
Now, the sparkly dress I am front and center for! I have been going out lately and dressing up. I have just been mom for the last few years, so this was/is foreign to me. It feels so good getting all spiffed up and walking out the door. Just be careful. Out of no where, sadness punches you in the belly. "I wish H could see me now" or "H would love this food, or this song" It threatens to crash your night.
I push past those feelings by pretending that guy, right over there, is watching me. I do not know why, but I can't feel depressed when I do this. It works every single time.
