Journaling, spent some good time with the W and kids this weekend. I knew the boys were going to be over Thursday so after the gym I brought home pizza and we all watched TV together. Friday we carved pumpkins with the kids Saturday I went truck shopping and then Trick or Treating with the kids. Unfortunately I saw W text the 3rd OM after trick or treating. I felt very disrespected. I'm sure my attitude was a little poor but all I said was "Well, I'm tired. headed to bed. S14/S12 were at their dads. D4 came to bed with me. W stayed downstairs by herself. Sunday Took D4 to church. I was out running errands before and when I arrived home W acted like she wanted to go but thought I had already left and was in the shower. We did some yard work and cleaning up after church. I went to the boys dad's house to watch some football, the gym and then a friends for the late game. Arrived home at 11. Chain was on front door. W left nice note about bills with a "good Night" at the end. I expected to find her in the MBR but she wasn't. She's respecting my statement about staying in the MBR whether I come home early or late. She called my hun a couple times this weekend and apologized to me a 3rd time in the last couple weeks.
Maybe some positive progress but nothing to hang my hat on.

2 things 1. My meds arrived in the mail this weekend and WW was standing there. She asked about the meds. I'm not surprised at her curiosity since I've never been one to take meds. I told her one was to help me sleep and the other to help me not lose it. Later she asked how long the doc said I would need to take it. I told her until I feel I can sleep all the way through the night with out it. Nothing more said
2. I'm buying a new truck. I've been told I shouldn't make any important decisions through this time but it's time. My old vehicle has 170K miles on it and just blew a head gasket so I have to trade it in before it's too late. I've never owned a new vehicle. I've always driven older used vehicle so my wife could have the new and reliable cars. Time to focus on me, who I am and take care of myself. Plus I've been blessed financially at work ( unknown to my STBX. I'm very pumped about this truck and can't wait to pick it up tonight.
So to recap my last 6 months 1. WW who has had at least 2 PA's and one other EA 2. D (that I do not want) scheduled to be finalized on 12/20/2015 3. random IRS audit 11/10/2015 -Yippee! This should be fun 4. head gasket blown on car.
Good thing I'm on meds or I would have lost it.

Wow, that's some terrible timing on having the D be final, right before Christmas. Sorry about that, but congrats on the truck! You deserve something good after going through all this.

Thank you. God has really been blessing me through these trials. Wow! WW was jealous. She actually said "Well, you'll look cute going to the gym and picking up those 21 year olds. Maybe you should pay more child support instead of a bigger car payment" She wants to renegotiate child support. What she doesn't realize is that I allowed the courts to use just this year and included commissions and bonuses which are not guaranteed income and the first year I've received them. Plus she is only working 3 days a week and I'm working 2 jobs 6-7 days a week. And I'm not making a lot more money than she is I just spend it differently. I don't get my hair done, get massages or get my nails done on a regular basis. I'm pretty sure if we renegotiate it correctly she'll actually get less.

When the reality of what D really will look like sets in they spew, mine certainly did. Then came along the various tactics, spew didn't work, nice didn't work, manipulation didn't work.... Because I decided whatever the state awarded as fair was fair... Just not to her and that was her problem, and as I told her for me to agree to a penny less for myself would be to fail S as a father as it would take away from him as well. I also added that with this not being my choice I slept just fine about my stance ..... All from a place of strength not punishing her , just very matter of fact about it
Seems your W is really hung up on you and the 20 somethings, may be more going on behind the scenes there for her now that she is in her 40's thinking maybe she missed out on a few things ... Good for thought
