Here are a few off the top of my head.

1) WAH to LBS w

"But between the two of us, this was never what I wanted".

2) W in an “open” m, was asked if she informed her h when she’d sleep w/OMs,
She replied:
“Of course I tell him. If you don’t have honesty in a marriage, how are you going to have Trust?”

3) “Its not an Affair b/c I told you about it…"

When we misguidedly attempted marriage counseling while my WAH was in the angry stage it went something like this:

Therapist: "H, have you done your home work this week in making a few attempts at connecting more closely with your W?"

Husband: "No".

Therapist: "why didn't you?"

Husband: "I didn't want to."

After this appt I told my H that it was time to stop counseling because he was not interested in doing the work we were being given. His response:

Husband: "Really, why do you think we should stop?"

During an argument I told w how she throws me under the bus sometimes when dealing with her family.

W: Tell me the last time I did something like that!

M: Last time your obnoxious brother had a family gathering. I didn't want to go and you told them I didn't go because I didn't want to be there.

W: Why are you always bringing up the past??? crazy

As to why D is necessary...
H: Nothing changes unless there's a change.

'cause counseling or trying to improve the M isn't change, I guess smile

Oh I got that one too! "This will be best for both of us". To which my reply (before I knew about DBing) was "I don't think you should presume to know what's best for me."

When H moved out to explore R with OW, and I asked him what my role was supposed to be, his reply:

"You're still my WIFE!" (In tone of total shock and disbelief that I questioned it)
