How funny that the whole world is counting down to my birthday this year! The Olympics couldn't have anything to do with it, could they? Nah!!

Had such a good night. We were on our last firework and right after it ended, we saw three grass fires! Well it isn't officially a party until something goes awry right? Kids had fun putting out the fires while my parents were naturally a bit more aprehensive. Dad had watered everything down before they had started but I guess with this heat, the water just evaporated.

After I got back home, found that we had left our biggest firework at home. Well it should still be good next year. Happy Belated Birthday America!

Whoa! Lots of excitement! The big firework will be perfect for New Years. We didn't do any this year. With the holiday falling in the middle of the week, we just weren't in the mood.

So is everyone really related to the Queen of England? So what if we are cousins, it should have warranted an invite to all the festivities.

So thinking of what I want for my future: family time without any guilt involved, freedom ie no boss, enough money, creative outlets and adventures. Got a book to help me get on track to possibly self publishing. Have about 3 ideas that are about 50% fleshed out.
