So the big day is tomorrow and I already started having crazy dreams about over sleeping, leaving one of the kids I am taking...all kinds of stuff. I can only imagine what tonight will be like when I have to get us up at 2 am!

My d13 isn't so little anymore.

UGH!!!! I know how that is. Not sleeping because you are afraid of forgetting something or not making it on time. That's NO FUN!

At least I took tomorrow off as a vacation day so once I get home, I can go back to bed for a bit. Then a high school friend of mine will be in town and I am going to try to meet up with him and his wife and daughter for lunch. then if I am still semi-awake I am going to go get my driver's license renewed since I am off and have time.

Not going to happen though if I am not feeling it. who needs a bad picture for 6 years? Not me! lol

I just got home. It was harder on me than for her. I hope she didn't see me cry. One of the other parents came over and patted my back. " She'll be fine" he said. Made me cry a tad more. I know she will be fine.

I wanted to show her everything the first time. Maybe that is selfish, I don't know. The other part is she left me. She is slowly breaking away and while I am so proud of her, my heart is breaking too.

She is the child the most like me. I wanted her to do this, I just had no clue how hard it was going to be. For me that is.

It is only until Friday. Yet, having this first adventure, I know many are to follow. I hope she will still want me to take her at least on a few of them.

I have been kept busy. It helped quite a bit meeting up with one of my dearest friends from way back when and his wife on Tuesday afternoon. Then last night all of my cable/internet was out so got to deal with the cable company about that.

The school sponsor has been great about giving us updates each night. I didn't ask D13 to call as I wanted her to just enjoy her experience and not call me every night. If she needs to reach me, she can go through the sponsor. So far though so good.

I can hardly wait to see her tomorrow. I have been keeping ex posted on the daily updates. He made a comment about her becoming a world traveler! I hope so! Just that I want to go too!!
