Dbmod - Why is 2Step being fully moderated? Any chance that you can rectify this?

IMO, he is way to valuable to many posters here to be moderated like this.

Do I have to bug you daily like I did when I was 'grounded' back in January? wink

Thanks Denver

I was wondering that myself.

I just read your update but I don't want to post for fear it will throw your new thread to page 7 and no one will see it.

I'll wait to get some clarification on my violation and then I'll post.

Till then.......

What!?! What did I miss?

Seems VERY odd for 2step to be on moderation....

i ECHO THIS WITH VEHEMNTLY (SP). He is one of the best , most thoughtful men on this board. His input has been invaluable to sooo many. IT is a crime to modify somebody like him.

Please, do something about this!

Guys,

Speaking as a mod, just not in this forum, and not knowing why 2step is moderated, just as DBmod wouldn't know why someone got moderated in MLC or Piecing if I asked for it.

Being upset that someone is moderated is understandable, but do you have the whole story? Was the TOA crossed? I don't know. And going by posts is fine, but a deleted post will not show up. If that is what happened.

In the past friends of mine have been banned; and I understood why they had. I skirted close to it myself on several occasions.

Let me be clear. I don't know why 2step is moderated. I am not accusing him of violating the TOA.

I don't know what or why...and because of that, without the knowledge? How can I make an opinion on where to stand?

As always Jack, calm and common senseical. Im sure what ever 2step did or said, can be explained. Just hate to see him go. I consider him a good friend.

Fellas I'm around just not entirely clear as to why the moderation. If there was a rule violation that is fine although I fail to see when and where it happened, not saying it didn't.

Anyways if it did happen just some clarification would be nice so that it will not happen again.

I'm sure whatever it is will be cleared up.

No, he doesn't, which is why the poster ASKED why, very respectfully. As usual, there are no answers forthcoming. If it's a TOS violation, he should be told so, preferably with a warning, so he can make sure to "knock it off" and not do that again.

Otherwise, we're ALL just speculating.

When (often good, reasonable) reasons aren't given; people assume the worst.

I recall a similar discussion about a penalty box? Public or private.

Yep, and I voted "public" -- more transparency, more accountability.

I got voted down on that one, too. wink

At least I'm consistent.
