I survived the two graduations! They were chaotic as always. D11 was really pretty in her deep blue dress and I curled her hair. She looked like a little grown-up...sob. S14 graduation was quiter, thank goodness. He had to have hugs from all of his girl friends and his favorite teachers and parents. He has become Mr Social. lol so much better than the last 3 years where he was quite and withdrawn.
I didn't cry, though my eyes welled up. They are all great kids and I am so lucky to have them. At S14's graduation I lost my name and became known just as Ryan's Mom.

It is really funny too because S17 was gushing over his sister last night. He couldn't believe how pretty she is/was. He kept telling me how all of his friends adore me and think of me as the cool Mom of the bunch. Don't know how that happened but I adore a bunch of them too!
I am even friends with a few of S14's friends on the alt. I am so glad that they feel good about including me!
Looking into the hot air balloon ride, I am going to try to work it in hopefully during the next couple of weeks. Also just had a client call and he told me he knew a guy that skydived and he would try to get some info on that for me!
I know it is good to do the bucket list for me, and it is ok if I do it alone.

Absolutely ok to do it alone! That way you 'own' the experience and make it what you want without any influence from someone else and without adjusting your own observations to match theirs.

Isn't it funny how we start to introduce ourselves? Instead of my name is such and such it is now so and so's Mom or Dad. I am trying to learn how to define myself outside of my kids, thus the list.
