That is wonderful kat! We always went out all night too and everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) met up at a local restaurant at 6AM for breakfast. It was always fun to see the bleary eyes along with the happy, giddy smiles.

I am just so glad that it was a positive experience for him(and a first date too)! smile Mine wasn't all that great but I think it was really important to have that experience.

I am still trying to recover from the lack of sleep on my part.

Big milestone, Kat. Congrats to "surviving" it. (I can't say what I'm going to do when my time comes.)

I was trying to plan a weekend next month to see K. I realized I needed to check his schedule. The time I was looking at isn't going to happen because he will be in Florida. In fact he will be out of town alot in May. frown Looking on the bright side, it gives me more time to work out and get my house in order!

I can see this is going to take more patience on my part(YIKES)!!

Now THAT is something I never dreamed I would possibly be faced with when my own kids were born! eek

Just found out a bit ago that an old childhood friend lost his daughter Saturday. I think she was in first grade. I don't know the details. I feel so awful for him, he lost his wife suddenly a couple of years ago.

So hug your little ones tight and let them know you love them.

I found out what happened. She was only 4. she had flu like symptoms and on Saturday she had a hard time breathing. Her Dad called EMS but they couldn't revive her. Oh my, my heart is aching.

That is so horribly sad kat. I'll keep him in my prayers. Does he have a large family supporting him?

He has two brothers and he also has three sons. The oldest is 16. It is heartbreaking. I know he lost his Mom not long after High School. His wife had cancer and died a few days after they found out. They had just adopted this little girl from China about 5 months earlier. Now this. He is a really great guy and I can't imagine the pain he has had to go through.

So many class mates posted on his site on the alt last night. We are just all over the place. I think there are quite a few of us in the KC area.

Thanks for your thoughts. Sorry to be so down about this.
