Ya know, I think that's what gets me about music. It has to be meaningful lyrics. I don't care if it's Sting, Metallica, Kid Rock, Reba, or Garth Brooks. It just has to be musical (i.e not most c-rap LOL) and have good lyrics!

Michelle come fly out here and we can make it a party!! I don't like rap for the most part and not twangy country for sure. I certainly want to understand what they are singing and sometimes I just can't! I blame part of that on hearing loss from my flight attendant days and the rest on the people singing! LOL
My last concert was Van Halen. I had bought them for ex and I when we were still married and he hadn't filed yet. Ended up taking S17 to his first concert instead.

He (keith urban) is quite possibly the best country guitarist out there right now. Brad Paisley is pretty good too, but Keith is better! Try his song "Making Memories of Us". I just love the words, I want a guy to be that way for me! Sigh...
No he hasn't. I know how swamped he is so I am not sweating it. We have so many clients at work just now doing their taxes, so I know he is getting that sort of stuff too.
Just got back from eating with J. He was really happy that i have gotten this far. Last June he had asked me if I was happy and without a lot of thought I said no. Now, I am. Not because of K but because I have come out of the pit and can see the world before me again!!
K is just an added bonus. Life is pretty darn good.

I like Keith and I like Brad. I think they're both exceptional musicians who take their craft seriously. I like their music and they each seem like swell guys. But I have to say it: IMHO, the best thing about either of them are their wives.
...and the truth is that I doubt either of them would argue with that.
