Anyway to back to day to day stuff until next fall. This morning as I was getting ready, I listened to the Keith Urban song. Are you sure that was country?? More of a pop song to me. I might have to check a few more out.
Caught the guy in front of me watching me sing along with my CD. Kind of funny but fun too.

Lady Antebellum is a big favorite group of mine. Their first CD has a ton of relationship-related songs and I love it!! My favorite "if-I-ever-get-to-make-out-again-I-want-this-song-on" song is on that CD!
Anyway just try a new song or two each day and pretty quickly you will figure out who grows on you!
Definitely will have to come and visit you! Maybe if you decide you like a few of the acts I could come down during Stampede. I will get my own hotel though in case you have a certain other country-loving visitor...

One of my favs is Brad Paisley. That guy has SUCH a freakin sense of humor (he writes almost all his own stuff). Songs like Alcohol, Ticks, I'm Gonna Miss her (aka The Fishing Song).
Toby Keith definitely is more rock in a lot of his songs.
I'm going to the Stagecoach Music Festival with my xSIL in a few weeks. 2 days of warm southern California desert weather (it's one of the festivals held at the Indio Fairgrounds) and probably a sunburn LOL.

FYI-When I went to Stampede in '98, it was 87 degrees all three days, not a cloud in the sky...good thing I had a VIP pass, unlimited food/water/pop/beer. Helps to be hydrated!
Last years Stagecoach wasn't too bad. It never hit triple digits. I think the high was only like 94. It gets pretty chilly at night though. I'll have to check the weather as it gets closer although it won't change my packing much - 1 jean skirt for if it's over 90, jeans for when it's not, underthings, 3 shirts, 1 sweater (maybe my jean jacket), boots, flip flops, sleeping bag, and my hygiene kit.
Why not Toby Keith? Too wild for you?

I just checked and Keith Urban and Darius Rucker are on the 25th of June(Friday). Boy the VIP tickets are expensive!! I will have to think on this one.
BJ are you interested at all in Daughtry? They will be at the Sprint Center the end of May. I missed them in Topeka when they opened the tour.
