There is nothing wrong with you. I know I am very gunshy right now. I am terrified of getting out there, terrified of spending my life alone, and trying to find the happy medium. I have tentatively started dating, and find I don't take rejection all so seriously now. Better that it be before I get involved than after!!

This was right on Lola. I'm so closed off now that even my friendships seem a little too guarded. There are only a couple of people that I am truly myself with. Julia, make sure you don't allow yourself to slip into that mindset. Strip that mask off right now. You have made so many changes for yourself and grown so much in this experience. You need to let that new Julia shine to everyone with no barriers.

Rejection, humiliation, self respect, barriers I have spent months putting into place ... no i'm joking. I guess I have nothing to lose. But I'll see if he asks first and maybe practise some subtle flirting too that can't hurt!
