Hey Now!

Great info on my thread. Thank you all for your thoughts.

Today was the bday party for my D7. Before I booked the party, I called X to make sure he was available for that date and time.

He is the one that suggested the place where it should be booked.

Between the time I booked it, and today. We had a fall out so, I have not really talked to him.

So, the other day my D7 asked her dad if the OW was going to her bday party, b/c my D didn't want her to go.

The X said no she is not going.

So the party was at 2pm

At 1:30 the phone rings.

X- Where are the kids?

Me- We are here at the party place.

X- Ok tell them to call me later.

Me- Um aren't you coming?

X- No, how am I supposed to go when you didn't tell me the time?

Me- You are kidding right?

X- No, you didn't tell me Lis.

Me- I called you before I booked it, and you are the one that suggested the place, you could of asked me again to remind you, or you could of just called the place, since talking to me makes you lose brain cells.

X- Well, you didn't tell me so I am not going.

Me- Ok bye

When I told my D at the place, her dad was not coming. Her little face. \:\(

I said I didn't tell papi the time baby girl, so he is not coming.

She looked at me, with her big brown eyes and said, He is not coming b/c of Susan.

I hugged her, and the party was fine.

This is not the firt party he has missed, it won't be the last.

Nothing I can say.

Your kids deserve better.

But they do have you.

Lissie , thank you for your post. You made me think.

Javi just misses out. You can't get that day back.

It must suck to be him. He can't even show his face because of the horrible feelings he has inside.

What a shame.

I'm sure your baby had a good time.

It is not your fault , he just couldn't do it.

Hi Sweetie!!

I agree with Jeff...what's there to say?

I personally will never understand and I know we're both on the same page with this because we couldn't stand to miss out on one minute of these memories.

HAPPY B-DAY M!!!!!!! You have 1 great Mom!

Love,
Bethie

Thanks lovies! She had a great party. My baby girl. My son had a great time at the party too.

My brothers are here.

They came over this morning and made breakfast. The kids were soo suprised.

They went to visit the X. They just got back, and are jumping on the trampoline with the kids.

Lissie you and I just had similar weekends with our Ds hearts being broken yet again by thier daddies on thier birthdays. My 'baby' is much older than yours but still she is grieving the 'loss' of her dad. I hope for both of us that the week gets better

Potato !!!!!!!

He is such a spud brain.

You know he knew. You know he is just trying to use her to punish you for not inviting the OW. What a pair of tator heads. They surely sat around baking this scheme and then sharing what they believe to be their success.

Guess what. They only managed to keep Javi from sharing in his Ds birthday joy, and showing her what a caring dad he can be. Now she has a different memory and he will never change this. You are right. He will miss more birthdays.

But my gosh, what an amazing bunch of uncles D7 has. They will make the memories she needs. She will grow up to want a man in her life just like them. Tator brains need not apply!!!

and don't you take blame for it again hon, he could've found out even if you hadn't told him the time. Glad she still had a good time though.

How nice your brothers came for breakfast, nothing like a full table \:\)
