We agreed to a D, well, exactly 1 year ago today. He would not do counseling, and the pain was too great he had to "move on".,
Then I found DB days later. Found out all the mistakes I made. And the things that I did that were not mistakes.
I already had a L.
TJ took about 3 weeks to find one. We started posting letters back and forth, and then he announced his move,leaving Co of 26 years, and btw papers are coming for you to sign and we are still disolving the m, right?
So because he was leaving the state, he had to "file". Reluctantly.
End of May we ask for papers from him. A stack. He did not even try to get them in for first court appearance, Oct 2, that was cancelled. Nov. 15 still no papers but some stuff going. April 16 still not all the papers, and hearing called off due to my L illness. Now we have all the papers, I still need to provide some. I think his L is pushing this, and TJ is reluctantly dragging feet.
He filed June 12. It is suppose to all be done by then. Not going to happen. My L tells me that next court date will be Octoberish.
So now we are at a settlement talk.
I am OK with it. It changes nothing, except makes everything a little more real for TJ. He will feel the loss of me. The D will not get him what he wants.
I have heard from his family, on numerous occasions, that TJ is not committing to this R. They all say it has no future.
So...... time will tell.
Bomb 1/06 D dismissed 11/07, attempt reconciliation. Premature. Divorce final October 31, 2008. OW looks like bad history. Over. Still hopeful. Baby steps. In R with my X.
