What does the doc do when he gets like that ? It must be very difficult to navigate and I understand being in a place where the boundaries are gray

Absolutely agree with that! Totally one of many possibilities, all of which would require difference approaches, depending on what the actual reason is. And, he very well could be on the spectrum. It is a difficult situation to navigate.

Reading my mind, G! I posted then realized I forgot to ask that because I was thinking about it when I posted my first response.

The kid is spoiled, I don't think on purpose but rather by default as he is the only child, nephew and grand child. He is used to being the center of attention by everyone, including his nanny. He is also very micro-managed by the ladies in his life and babied. It is rather annoying.

It is a grey area and I need to determine what is only kid, immature, quirkiness or if it is something more. I'll check out the show as he has displayed the same behavior when things don't go his way as well.

When the Doc got upset at him on Sunday she took him aside and spoke to him privately. Later she told me she was embarrassed. I have never seen her yell at him, scold him in public or spank him. We have discussed discipline before and she says that doesn't work with him.

I guess time will tell what happens.
