Quick question: Been separated for 3 months, divorce is starting this week (will take at least 6 months), she is dating OM. I am in process of detaching. However, wedding anniversary is in 10 days. Do I acknowledge it, ignore it, send a card, flowers, note (last effort). I want the marriage to work (but have been giving the impression that I moving on), with detaching. What to do on anniversary day?

Why would you even want to celebrate it?

I agree with all posters. When my 32 year anniversary came up neither one of us mentioned it. In fact, we didn't even talk that day.

Nothing YOU do for her will make things better so I agree with thr others. Acknowledge only if she does. If she ignores it you should also. It takes two to be in an R and at this time she is not looking for an R with you.
