Well, I have a bid on a condo and the whole thing needs to be painted! I'll be sure to go on a Saturday morning.

I know what to do with wood, but not treated lumber (see, my mind is always in the gutter).

You might have to coach me on that one.

I just have to add...... I went to D's back to school night tonight. D sits right in front of the class and I sat in her chair and her teacher comes over to me and says " you must be D9's mom! "d9 said to me today you are just going to love my mom!" On every back to school night the kids right their parents a letter, we read it and write one back. This year she addressed it to just me and thanked me for helping her with her homework, making her dinner and spending time with me. It melted my heart. She is already famous in class. She did have a fever this week and I had to pick her up and she stayed home a day. She was worried she would not understand her math test so she asked for extra help! The teacher is going to help her before school tomorrow. But she says D9 is really good at math, she'll be fine. She does not get that from me.

Then the mom across from me said " I just have to say, I love your daughter, she has so much energy and is so full of personality" she met her when a friend was watching her and they brought my D to help sell Girl Scout cookies.

I went back to spin last night finally and ex was dropping her off there. The whole class was asking for her especially the instructor. She sits in the room instead of going to the teen room. They all welcomed her back. And my instructor said my ex was good looking. Barf.

Any of you who have met my D knows she is larger than life. It can be a real challenge for me sometimes ( and an even bigger challenge for her father) but she makes such an impression on the people she meets. Wouldn't change her for the world, no matter how many gray hairs she gives me .

I'm so full of love for that kid. I couldn't imagine my life without her.

Um, sure I'll coach you. Treated lumber lasts a lot longer than untreated wood, particularly in a wet environment.

With regards to your daughter; that's an awesome story. Kids are the greatest, aren't they? I don't know what I'd do without my two sons.

Yes, we sure do learn a lot! I about died laughing at the comment. Humor is good for the soul around here!

Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to.
The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.

After BD but before S, Mr P felt frequent and sudden urges to bolt out the door to "Home Depot". It was funny how often they were out of whatever he had gone in there after......

HAHAHA, you guys are so funny!!! (did it work?)

Really, you guys are so funny. Best responses ever.

So, I did not get my condo.

I nodded off multiple times at my desk today.

I forgot about my dad's cataract surgery yesterday (I thought it was last week and I called him) I forgot to call him, he is very upset with me, I feel absolutely awful and apologized profusely. He's still upset. I don't even know if I'm coming or going anymore.

My whole weekend is immersed in D9 events and other obligatory events and I have a whole paper to write. There is no one to lean on for help. It's just me all the way. I don't think ex and OWW are making it to anything this weekend am I am personally glad, because watching them as husband and wife actually pisses me off.

I am barely keeping it together, I am on the verge of a nervous breakdown. I'm emotionally and physically exhausted and I am upset with myself I can't be there the way everyone needs me in the capacity they need me. I am also upset that I have no one to lean on.

Sorry for the awful rant, but I have been faking it hardcore and no one has any idea how I feel IRL. I don't let anyone know.

The condo and me forgetting my dad was the icing on the cake today and I cried on the way home from work to pick up D9. Now I have to do dinner with my cousin and her family. So I took a Xanax.

I really want to run far far away. But of course I can't. Sh!t.

I could totally use a dirty joke right now to cheer me up.

Thanks to whoever stuck around listening.

Ginger - the best I can do on this public forum is my favourite "Dad" joke.
