I just want to say that having to start a new thread everytime you get around 100-200 replies is just asinine. I know that we're all guests here, but it's much easier to follow a single thread than to have to jump around to nine similarly titled threads.

Just sayin...

I say we push this thread to the limit, have it locked, and then open a new one... wink

Yeah, I'm a BOFH (for all you fellow IT pukes).

Gentle suggestion:

You can link your threads front to back and then it is easy
to follow along.
We do that on other portions of this board and it works just fine.

Yep, that can be done. But it isn't that helpful. You have to go to the beginning of a thread to find the link, and it's definitely not as convenient.

At the end of the old thread before it locks you put a link to your new thread.
If you wait for it to lock then you can not do it.

On the new thread link back to old one.

It seems to work fine for me. smile smile
