Well I never had a screen name before so I did not know what to pick. So I tried to think of a nick name. Mermaid was an old nick name my brother used to call me and my d lived the The Little Mermaid. Not a very exciting story but there you have it.
I was stunned from months of banging my head against the wall, getting hit with all sorts of bizarre treatment, and not knowing what was coming next or what I should do next.

This is a great thread. In high school I decided that The Great Gatsby was my favorite book. And 11 was always my lucky number. So way back then (1997-98) I gave myself the techno-newbie email account 'gatsby11@juno.com.' (Now defunct; just wanted to give a shout-out to those who used to use Juno.) When all this WAH drama came into my life, I ditched all the names that I came up with post high-school and returned to the 'ol gatsby.

When I first came on the board, two of the people I love and respect, Betsy and Meredith, often used the term "crazymaker." It basically means a person who escalates things instead of handling them in a calm manner. That was me, unfortunately.
After realizing that I was in fact a crazymaker, I set about to change that about myself. And when I felt I had succeeded, I changed my screen name to CMNM. CMNM = CrazyMaker No More
Bart is my alter ego. A supper hero of sorts. A man from a different time when my life was much simpler. It was who my friends knew me. Ironically Bart was someone my W killed or I killed to be with my W, so this was my first step in resurrecting my old pre-m self. I never really thought of it until tonight though.
