Do it, do it, do it! It is absolutely fabulous! And so peaceful. And slow - like time itself slows down!

Look into soaring. I did that. That was the best!

By all means, yes!
And didja ever notice that "alone" is how one often meets others...?

I really don't know some days. smile I am exhausted and heading off to bed. Get to take my parents to the airport nice and early tomorrow. Somehow I feel like a kid getting the house to myself or at least knowing that they won't be calling me for a while to see if I am alive since I didn't answer the phone. Maybe I was doing something right then or maybe not even home. Oh well they will always be parents. Good and bad, I'll take them.

night, kat

Thanks Gardener! I did para sailing once and loved it. I thought it would be loud but it was so peaceful and quiet. We did that on our last married family vacation in the Caribbean.

I have a long list. I put it on face book once, maybe back in November. I am sure it will change some as time passes but I hope to do something once every month or two. I will probably even end up rewriting it now so I can look at it everyday.

Kat,
I'm a little late but thanks for the Mother's Day wishes on my thread in infidelity. I don't get on this site much anymore, I've just moved on. It was a quiet day. Hope yours was, as well.

H has moved out -- just this week. So our trial separation begins! Maybe once I get my head straightened out a bit I'll come back. I'm sure I'll check in from time to time.

Parasailing? Sounds fun. I would do that but skydiving -- no way!

Skydiving at least the first few times I think you do in tandem with the experienced person pulling the cord and you just get to focus on the ...falling. lol

Life is too short. I was looking at pics my parents took of their first visit to Italy some 25 years ago or so. My dad who loves to drive fast thought it was crazy and got flipped off by a little old lady because he wasn't driving fast enough!!

I haven't made it to Italy yet but I have been to Europe 7 times so that is something. The boys have both been and S17 has actually been twice but doesn't remember much. So I am training them on being world travelers. Next year S17 and I are going for his graduation. We won't be staying too long because I can't afford it but it is the experience that counts.

I have to get ready for work.

Well I actually survived those three wacky, stressful days! My boss is gone the next couple of days which sometimes makes the days drag.

I am so ready to do...nothing. lol Oh but I want to sleep so I guess that is something. smile

The thought of a bunch of us getting together has really got me hyped up! The idea of no kids for a few days(at least for mine) sounds so nice. Remember I have only had 2 kid free days in 3 years!
