We often talk about codependency here, and why it affects a lot of us here and our relationships.

We often don't look beyond that to what we should be striving to achieve, so I have been researching that for myself, and thought it would be a good topic to discuss here.

Here is a great article on the three above, explanation of them, and why we should be striving for strong interdependent relationships.

http://www.melanietoniaevans.com.au/articles/codependence-independence.htm

Those of us that have codependent tendencies should first look to work on strong independence for ourselves, as you can not make strong interdependent relationships without first being truly independent!

With independence comes strong boundaries as well, and what will allow the transition to interdependent relationships.

I am working hard on my transformation, as I know all of you are, so I hope this will be of help to you as well!

Praying for you all!

Thanks for sharing this! I needed to read this and provides a lot of insight to my current situation and who I've become, and who I need to be.

iwitw,
Thanks for the article. I've bookmarked it for later reading.
