You ask me to enter / But then you make me crawl

Quick summary, had a relatively good convo with H about taxes, he's moved back home with his parents, I'm in the middle of prepping for the Bar exam in February, and still seeing R.

To answer the last asked questions, no, that debt amount doesn't include anything else, that's just my student loans. Tuition was just shy of $32K a year for 3 1/2 years plus living expenses. I would be well over $100K, like most of my friends, if I hadn't worked while in school and tried to live sparsely. I don't own any property, although now that I'm out of school I am definitely interested in buying. It's a good time as property values are very low now, but will go back up in a few years.

No word from H since that last convo a few days ago.

Bar prep is stressful. Had dinner with my parents last night. Cooking for R tonight.

(((everyone)))

Who wants what to go with dinner?

I know not a very dinner - type drink.

So where do you think the phrase 'hair of the dog' came from anyway???? ;\)

Not sure.

But that chocolate banana smoothie with tequila sounds good actually LOL.

White merlot coming up - love that stuff.

I'm having port tonight.

Try it on a warm summer day, after a nice bike ride - so good.

Your port from wine country sounds very nice. White merlot - don't think I've ever had it. \:\)

Hi Michelle!
I've never heard of white merlot either, but I like the red variety!

I have debts of £75k after 2 degrees and renovating properties and that doesnt include mortgages.. yep, bit scary but I never waste time thinking about it! Its only money, may as well get hung for a sheep as a lamb, as they say. I might be able to pay it off one day, lol.

So, things are going strong with R then??? If its not a nosey question (but I am intrigued...) how does he compare to your H? Or the way your H made you feel? Or is it still casual?

Ohh and I'll have a rum and coke please, hey Mrs M! Used to love those.

You guys really need to search out the white merlot. I like Beringer the best. Not sure if you can get that over there Ali but it's everywhere here.

I'm a bit picky with my merlots - some of the oaks they use can be too strong. Thus I end up spending more money on them cuz I won't drink the cheap ones. LOL White merlots on the other hand are a rose that is a bit sweeter, but still made from the merlot grape obviously. A good balance IMO.

Went for an hour massage this AM. Have one scheduled the beginning of next month and one the day before the exam. She didn't even get to my legs/feet, spent the whole hour on my back, shoulders, and neck as they were such a mess. Between hauling my computer, books. lunch box, etc around and the stress my body is definitely feeling it.

Have class tonight, totally forgot it's a holiday for most people. Grrrr. The student center and gym are closed. I'm sitting outside shivering, but I need internet and can get the wireless from this spot. Need to listen to an online lecture. Then I'm going to head to my favorite coffee shop and thaw out LOL.

Good luck with the thawing. It's a bummer when so many are off today and we're all working our butts off isn't it? I swear, I want to go to work for the post office!!!!!
