That's wonderful about your student Yoyo. I am sure you are remebered like that by more students than you can imagine. I remember the teachers that made a big impact on me.
'Man whore' is a phrase that's used over here too. My kids use it about the guys their own age who go through GF's like crazy!!!

Well, the homecoming ceremonies are over. DD is at the dance right now and I'm at home in my pjs. Wow, it feels nice.
Everything went very nicely. She looked beautiful in her long dress and her suit. As we were driving to the the day homecoming assembly, I got a little sad, knowing that she is getting closer to leaving the nest everyday. It doesn't seem like she should be old enough to to be on the homecoming court! My baby has grown into a young woman. All of the girls on the court were absolutely stunning.
My Dad and my H survived being around each other. My H even shook my dad's hand when he left and told him it was nice seeing him.

Glad it all went well, Yoyo. I know it is bittersweet to see them grow up. But I find with my kids that I am so proud of the people they have become. Yes, I miss the sweet children who depended on Mommy for everything, but it is nice to see them go off in their own directions, confident of themselves.
