Well, looks like Kat locked my last thread. So, starting up a new one. Is this becoming a weekly thing? List of threads:

1: Hopeful but unsure
2: Separated and Sad
3: PMA = Me
4: Moving Forward
5: Moving Forward 2
6: Moving Forward 3
7: Moving Forward 4
8: Get out the Map (8)

Here's the recap - W moved out in October 07 after saying "ILYBINILWY". I did all the wrong stuff, then found DB in November and worked my butt off, but nothing got better. Found out about OM in Jan 08 - PA from summer 07 that had become EA. From end of January to beginning of March there were a lot of back and forths, including W moving back into house for 2 weeks. But she wouldn't put any energy into anything and kept saying she "didn't understand her feelings but couldn't deny them." So she asked me to wait 6 months while she tried a R with OM. I said no. She filed at the end of April. Everytime we see each other she cries. Wants to stay friends and have long conversations. Says we connect on many levels but she can't be the person for me. Left recently for 3 weeks, asked to take my truck, I agreed, and little contact since.

Meanwhile, I've let go and realized that I don't think I can be with her ever again. I love her, but she is a damaged person.

So, here I am.

So you are and we are all right here with you. I'm sleepy. No party tonight.

Sleepy? I haven't made dinner yet!

So the good news for today is that ALL the trees in my back yard are fruit trees. I've got lemon, grapefruit, apricot, peach, and plum. The apricots are ripening now so I did my first big pick tonight. Guess I'll make jam.

Yep, when life gives you lemons...

Sorry to hear where you are. Sounds painful. Hang in there.

Hi hoosiermama,

haven't looked at your thread but I looove your name! \:\)

Maybe my title is too painful sounding. I'm more at the realization and moving on phase.

Thanks! \:\)

Sometimes realization can be the most painful of all.

True, hoosiermama, true.

Hey WCW - been wondering when you'd poke your head up again! Finished with your hay? Gettin' ready for your big workshop?

You know, not only can I make jam, but my family has roots down in the Ozarks in So. MO. Every fall we'd gather and make apple butter in a bit copper kettle over an open fire. We're talking enough to feed 400 here! Everyone would pitch in to cut up apples, stir the pot, and can the apple butter. Good stuff!

And when I lived in CO, I used to help some friends who had one of the last remaining apple orchards. They had an old wooden press and we'd make the best damn cider you've ever had. IMO.

So how goes it?

BTW - just thought I'd mention that thread title is a Beth Orton song. Yes, I'm basically following in g's footsteps, but I'm giving him Patty (for the time being).

That does it! I have the best apples in the county on my two trees and give them away to everyone! They are in big demand! In return I get pies and applesauce but no apple butter. You come get some free apples and you can leave me some of your apple butter.

And if you're real lucky there will be some hay left to help with! I'm sure there'll be something I need help with....there always is! The other day I chewed up the hose for the sump pump in the lawn mower. What a joke! What a talent!
