Do something for you tonight if this is THE DAY.

I had to get out the night mine was final. Made arrangements for my son, then just spent the night out, alone, but in the company of other people.

Took a couple days off work, just to clear my head and get my mental hands around the idea of being a divorced guy.

Could have had a friend join me, but I really needed the night to myself. But that was just me.

Do what you need to do. Just be kind to yourself.

And know this...

Life does indeed go on, every bit as well as it did before. Maybe even better in some ways.

Thanks for the support. I'm fine. Really. There's a certain weight off my shoulders because, hey, I don't have to worry about arguing or settling on the final arrangements. It's done and fairly straightforward. Pretty much got everything I asked for and then some.

And things are the same at home. We're all watching the tourney. She's more stressed out than I am. She has to go to court on Monday.

I'm fine. Boys and I had a nice Easter. I'm home with S6 who's fighting a cold and a slight fever. Nothing serious.

Guess I won't be able to show up in court today.

Sorry S6 is sick. Is it spring break for them? It is heae so I'll be doing stuff with D's. Mostly stuff around the house, but I'm sure we'll have lots of fun in there.
