I wouldn't be surprised to hear that you are getting better and better all the time.
People who come from a severe emotionally abusive sitch such as yours, take a little long to recover to full emotional health but always get there in the end.
ok for those not in the know and looking for an update - got an all expense paid trip to the intensive care unit in january - bacterial menengitis (the good kind that can kill you in a couple of days) and strep - still have the scar on my hand - 2 weeks icu, 2 weeks hospital, and 5 weeks at home - feeling great now - lost 35 # while in the hospital and managed to keep all but about 5 of it off - work has been draining as of late - new boss and new schedule (more commute time) but surviving - being more serious about scanning dataing websites (as opposed to the "looks around - gets some nibbles, but then wanders off and they lose interest" - will see how it goes
2008 has beein "fun" so far, but looking up.
