There are a lot of good posts about the antics of MLCers. We've learned a lot about protecting financials, as a typical MLCer will go through money. It's all about "them". We need to protect bank accounts and credit cards as well as any equity in any property. The other day I read a good article on "abuse" in the Dayton Daily News and a few recent posts touched on the subject. I was amazed that I was subject to 80% of what the article mentioned as far as abuse tactics by spouses or formers or family or former family members. Usually we have not done anything to be on the receiving end, but we are the recipients none the less. Last night I was cleaning out some shelves and found the missing place setting of good silverware tucked neatly behind shelves, between the wall and the shelves. It's been several years since the x left, and I always wondered what happend to that place setting that was part of the rest of the set I have, now the full 8 has been restored. So, to kick it off, here is some of wonderful antics I've been subject to. Calling cat welfare, saying that I (the supposed caller) was abusing my cats and that they should come by and get them before I did them further harm. Follow up call from them wondering when they can pick up my cats. The exotic car salesman phone call following up on my visit to the showroom wondering if I was still interested in the Mazarati or the Lamborgini (spell check?) or prefer the Porche I test drove (that one is probably compliments of the former step son). The one missing tape/DVD out of the series. (Multiples) The call from the piano store wondering if we were ready to order the $10,000 player piano I was looking at the other day. The realtors calling to ask when I'd be ready for the first showing of my house which was soon to be up for sale. The cell phone charger hidden on top of the book case. The car keys off the night stand found in the trash can in the kitchen. The $600 one month cell phone bill (again thanks to former step son) Mutilated photos reversed and placed back into their frames. Internet "trash" I asked for. (change ID and passwords if your MLCer might know them) Collect calls billed to my phone number. Stuff showing up in my mail box or on the door step I didn't order. Asked for the return of the garage door opener, (after she picked the rest of her stuff up in the garage which I neatly boxed and packed for moving at her request), found it in pieces strewn about the lawn. Care to share with the rest of us?
Ahhhh, the insanity of it all! Great post! I'll be back to share when I have more time..... right now, I'm waiting on S to get out of the bathroom so I can take a shower and get ready for work.... what I'd do for a second bathroom!

Here's a few from the top of my head................
She took when leaving,
- the cord to charge my electric razor - the cord to charge my cell phone - DVDs that she hated but I liked - some of my clothing but left me some of hers
She's tried to take/ taken since leaving.............
- kids clothes, WTF?? I have sole custody - dollar store tupperware (well used) - food - dug through the garbage and got a broken vase - worn out bath towels and old curtains - various items of little or no value even when new
General craziness would include............
- smashed a cell phone I asked to be returned - calls all weekend from young girls (her way of keeping tabs) - Picture holocaust (she has destroyed all of my pics from BEFORE we met)
- snooping through the house when here to see kids - brings OM laundry to do here ( not going to happen) - cleans my house once a week like a maid service - makes my appointments for me ?!?
This is just the tip of the iceberg, there's lots left out and forgotten as well.
I thought he was kidding and was going to bring me lunch (duh)
Left us without heat for the better part of the winter last year, but spent like 800 bucks a day on the ho.
Lied to me, and snuck my kids, to meet the ho bag, and they met her under a false name, so it would not get back to me . Has called me everyname in the book. Even the C word (sigh) and he never even cursed at me before ever.
Has done these things in front of the kids.
Has told me he wishes he was dead instead of being near me another minute.
He wants to spit in my face.
says he has wanted to bash in my skull in if he was next to me.
Says he wants to blow his brains out in front of me so I can see him die, and then that will make me happy.
Says b/c of me he will live in miserty until he dies
Told me I am a POS mother in front of the kids.
Umm, that is all i could think about for now I am sure there is more
he is an angry little sucker isn't he.
Oh and sowre up and sdown, he would pay for everything
and at last minute left me paying everything.

left CD cases but took the CDs made copies of all my keys stole money from the Hardy boys' piggy bank took some of my underwear took my psuedo engagement ring and gave it to the baby crackho took one of every set (like 1 martini glass, 1 plate etc) drove by my house with babyho and screamed nasty names at all hours of the night told everyone I was having an affair asked my parents for money after he left took the frying pan and lied about it threatened to kill me (take a hit out on me) calls my parents and asks what I'm doing said the OW wasn't as smart as me and that that was good told his daughter about the OW 4 months before he left (she was 9) lied about where he was living tried to have his calls to me traced as proof of stalking (????) bought patches from the military surplus store to perpetuate the lie that he was in the airforce!!!!
collecting hockey stuff so that he could pretend more convincingly that he actually played hockey (when he never learned to skate) ... which explained why his phoney hockey injury/hyperextended knee injury that always flared up when my family played hockey

Batty, I don't think you want me to get started on this thread w/everything that my xh has done and is continuing to do, but I'll give the folks the board's all time favorite from Mr. Egg Head himself!
My xh brought two deputies (two cruisers) to my residence to retrieve a plastic Easter Egg that his mother had given to me. Now, this egg was worth a couple of bucks, not more than $5.00. I had it appraised for the my lawyer who damn near choked when I showed it to him.
This little visit was priceless. Hmmm....wonder if he's been sitting on the egg all of this time waiting for it to hatch!
My list could go on and on and yes, Lis, I could write a comedy screen play w/his antics!
