Been D'd for going on six months now. There has never, ever, ever been a glimmer of true co-parenting from the X. I was worried about my S8 being shipped off to stay with her new BF this coming Friday because X and my 3 daughters are going to a concert in Nashville. I sent a couple of hints through the grapevine that I would like to have 1st dibs on my son for that night so that he didn't end up w/ BF and his three sons. X txt'd me this AM offering him up to me that night. I checked with both sources that I sent the hints through and neither had talked to her. So... it would appear that this is unsolicited and perhaps genuine offer!

OK..let me interrupt the fun with a serious update then we can get right back down to the 7th level..
so I get an email from Kim..Caleigh is not in daycare today so she will be brought to me..she gives me a choice either the regular meeting place or a place closer to me, then let's me know her SIL will be driving her
. So I reply back, that the closer place would be nice. I then let her know I have an engagement I need to attend Saturday night and ask her if she would like ROFR, if not then I have a sitter for Caleigh. I also reply back about what is left to untangle(I did not use that word in the email)The email was nice, business like. Anyway, I let her know she would be getting a letter in the mail that she had been dropped from my insurance and it was a retro'd back to 12/1 and that I was sorry but it was company policy. I then let her know that the mortgage payment went in 12/1 automatically from my check and that it could not be stopped. She is supposed to close on the house Dec. 12th. She also owes me the difference between the CS payment for Nov./Dec.and the Nov./Dec. Mortgage..I threw out a $495 amount to her that I thought I was owed but also let her know that Caleigh had some co-pays/medicines for Nov and I would work with her on that. I also agreed to pay 1/2 the court costs of the D proceeding even though they were charged to her so that is another $127 off..so she tossed back a $340 figure to me..so I accepted that offer..
so, what do I get from all this??
1. either Kim is on a really high dose of Morphine and mellowed out and reasonable...due to her knee surgery
2. she has been put through some type exorcism and all the batchitt crazy has been removed.
3. or we may just be able to have some semblance of a co-parenting skill tucked deep down in each of our brains.
4. or it's all just a dreaded game and I'm once again about to get kicked in the crotch and then stabbed in the back...
I hope it's option #3. I'll take #2. If it's #1 I hope they make it a permanent IV drip.
and if it's #4, would one of you guys pass on to my family that I love them and will miss them??

well princess has been pretty pissy since I got her..She was asleep when I got her..so that tells me no nap yesterday, then she went to sleep in my car..so I get her home at 6:00, feed her..she's whiney for her mom because she's not been to daycare all week(since before Thanksgiving actaully) which means she is out of her routine..her bedtime was 9PM and of course she fought me until 10:45PM..then up at 6:00am..of course still whiney, won't eat breakfast..put her in the car to daycare..asleep again..got her out and took her in..she seemed happy when I left..and to top it all off..Kim sends no heavy winter coat..so I dress her heavy with a Lined Nike jacket..

Kim sent a heavy snow suit..problem is a snow suit would be fine if she was outside in the snow..the snow is gone..it's a cool rainy day..the coat won't matter as long as they don't go outside at daycare..The snow suit is too much for today..I dressed her in t-shirt, turtle neck, jeans, sent her minnie mouse hat and gloves and the lined Nike jacket..she should be good..the jacket has a hood also..I also told the teacher that Kim forgot the heavy coat and the teacher assured me they have extras that they can put on the kids when they have parents that are batchitt crazy and on morphine drips

Mike - Princess is having a rough adjustment because of the lack of routine. I assume Kim didn't take her to daycare since she was off work due to the surgery. That's understandable, but not fair to Caleigh.

a little better this morning. her teacher informed me they could see a big behavior difference..she's not been to daycare since the day before Thanksgiving..and I'm sure she has been spoiled badly while at home..we made a gingerbread houise last night..she enjoyed that..ball game tonight so I know she will love that...

Ok..updates on this weekend..A good weekend with Caleigh..Gingerbread house, ball game Friday night. Caleigh and I put up the Christmas tree yesterday all kinds of new picturesin the alternate....I lost a beer bet with Ina on the football game...out with mikeshairstylist38 last night for supper and a movie and to the book store for her. It was nice, it was very comfortable...MHS38 has been through a LOT with her ex husband..He's a druggie, an idiot..an assholee and is Batchitt crazy i think.....after dropping her off at her house I then when out to a local club(electric Cowboy) met up with about 8 friends..hung out, drank a few beers..in at 3:00am...it has been a good weekend so far..may do some Xmas shopping today..back to the grind on Monday..then a 3 doors down concert with MHS38 on Tuesday....csr38 is still in the picture..I still talk to her and email...
