Tia and all,
Take this to the bank. Dmac WAS the originator of going "dark." The "darkman" used the term to signify the tried and trusted "last resort technique." I, and a few others expounded on the term, for it worked very well.
Once dark, but no longer 'cause I saw the light,
Gino

Svolt,

Well, I said I had been wrong once or twice. Guess this makes three times. Thanks for clearing that up before it drove Tia crazy.

Hey everyone!
Okay, I appreciate the replies. The BURNING question of this post, is now answered. Thanks Gino! I was curious because people ask how "going dark" originated. So, I just had to find out. No, I'm not writing a book, GG. Thats Michele's arena. :):)

Thanks again,
/Tia

Yes Tia that would be me.
Darkman. I needed to distance myself from my wife and stop calling, emailing etc so I would go dark. Really it was a buddy of mine that was having a beer with me when all of this was going on that said I should go dark. Hense the phrase. If people are really curious we were sitting at Gilmours in Sudbury Ontario having a pitcher of Canadian.
