I am off to see the best tribute band in the world (tribute band to the best singer songwriter in the world) on Thursday, and as their guest! That's because they appeared at the festival I help organise last summer. I think they must have liked my sandwiches when I looked after them! No prizes for the artist they pay tribute to!
And tomorrow my alternative choir is performing at a music pub/bar and then having a Chrstmas party.
It may not be Mexico but it does it for me!
I am also hovering somewhat closer to maybe starting a new relationship. I'm interested in someone anyway, which is a first! I may get cold feet of course but it's a step in the right direction.
Gave me a warm fuzzy to think of you thinking of me at those gigs, with all the miles of land and sea which separate us. The internet is a wonderful thing in the right hands.

You know what's really nice?! When a couple weeks past, you went to the grocery store and bought a three pack of ferrero rochers on impulse. You then bustled home and unpacked your groceries and put the ferroro rochers in your candy jar in haste. Then a couple weeks later you go to the candy jar thinking you'll grab that last almond joy from Halloween...and there...glistening in their golden foil...are the ferrero rochers. Hehe SWEET!
In light of XH making contact, I have changed my mind back and I plan to send him a Christmas card and some photos that he has not previously seen. They are mostly of the pets and some of his old boat (which he no longer has).
I do not expect acknowledgement as I have never had that from him yet. I think he would like to have the photos as in the early days his comments about photos were "I'll take what I can get." It wouldn't do any harm, would it?
