Shiny -
in that case, it may be related to your colectomy. There is something called "dumping syndrome" that people with bowel surgeries experience - they experience it after eating, could cause your symptoms. I'll see what I can find out about how to lessen it.

I saw Catwoman last night, and if there are any women out there who need to get pumped up to break out of their box, it's a good flick to see We'll all be wearing leather pants and strutting around like Halle Berry soon

Hey Ellie,

I don't think I would look like Halle Berry does in those leather pants!

You know I was upstairs scrubbing on the tub and thought the point is if we FEEL like we are Halle Berry!

I could maybe do leather pants at the end of the year - but not sure on a whole cat suit. I definitely won't look like Halle Berry, but I will look good.

I'm back to at least 6 days exercise a week, about 4 days strength training. Leather, here I come!

Boy, did that bring back memories that go way back.

Sounds like its turning out to be a busy (& fun) summer for ya.

I understand too about being resentful for the newly surfaced jealousy. As the ole cliche goes, I never had a jealous bone in my body ... now my bones rattle with it. OM use to be part of the maintenance staff at the school my W works. At my D11's DARE award ceremony this spring a new maintenance guy approached her and put his arm around her as he whispered about a prank they were pulling. Then one day during our vacation when we were home, he showed up at the door asking if she had a pot big enough to catch a woodchuck that found its way into the school. My first thoughts were, "... and how did he come about knowing where she lives?". Last week, she made a pan of bake ziti and brought it in for the "guys" (maintenance staff). This is a first, while most days I work, I come home to frozen dinners. I can't stop the thoughts of "Is looking at a possibly another OM?"

Now this guy is much younger too and has a fiancée. No I don't really believe there anything going on there, but before I would never had even formed the question.

Like you, I don't like the feeling either, but don't know how to make it disappear.

'til later,
KAW

Hello Ellie

Found your thread to say thank you again for the index card in pocket idea. A simple idea that helped me alot today to keep focused and not have any angry outbursts with my h.
cheers

Hi all -
just an update to keep from slipping back to the third page
Things are good here. H and S12 just left for a week-long trip to Vietnam. H has a speaking engagement there and S can come along for free, so they are making a vacation out of it. I'm jealous, would have liked to have gone, but when this trip first came up, D13 was too sick for me to consider leaving. H was missing me before he even left.I know they'll have a fabulous adventure

D13 is doing really well, some of the anorexic "thinking" that remained is finally starting to fade away, thank god for Prozac is all I can say.

S17 is loving his job as a boxboy at the grocery store.

And H has finally ordered a new laptop for his business (his old one is so old, it 's running windows 98! One of his colleagues saw it and said "What is this thing, coal-powered?" This means I will inherit the old laptop, which is fine for me for word-processing, and will be a big help to me to get my writing going.

I will miss H this week, but must admit I am looking forward to a week to focus on my own stuff.
