A sort of thread so not to hi-jack others.
I guess if you want to you can drop notes here too if there is a thread you think I can help with.

Or just say hi.

Mr. Bond, you sir are a class act. Far classier than I would have been. wink

I second that one Jack.

Mr. Bond, I have always respected and admired the way that you handle yourself on the Board. You sir, are definitely a class act and a hard one to follow.

Hi Jack!

How are you doing these days? I'm very happy you've returned. I've missed you!

I guess I have a little more in the tank.

LouisB hit it on the head and made me think about why I stopped back, and then well I saw a bunch of guys I think I might be able to help. So lets see how it goes.

I am doing ok, some major life changes, medically I am a paraplegic. This of course puts a lot of strain on a marriage. We are both coming to terms with it and we will see what happens. Piecing is a constant thing and things fall apart when you stop doing it.

Raised/Raising two boys, one is in the Army right now, and the other just started Sophomore year in High School. Proud of them both and really good relationships with them.

Jack,
You've got a lot going on. I'm very sorry about your medical condition. I had hoped that things would have improved. I'm glad to read that you and your wife are coming to terms w/it. Piecing is a constant thing and you can't ever take anything for granted. I do hope that you and your wife can work things out and be there for one another.

As for your boys...wow! I can't believe you've got a son in the Army and the other son is a Sophomore! They grew up so quickly and you know what...I'm so happy that you have a good relationship w/both of them.

I continue to pray for you and your family and I do ask about you from time to time and Cadet has been nice enough to let me know that how you are doing.

Jack, hang in there. God has his reason for what has happened in your life. We may not have the answers just yet, but they will be revealed to you when the time is right.

Hi Jack, it is good to see you back posting on the forum. I recall seeing posts from you when I fist began posting, but then not for a while.

I'm so sorry to read of your health condition and from what Job posts, this is a recent development that you are still coming to terms with? Goodness me, that can't be easy and we are blessed to have experienced posters like you - and Job, Mr Bond and others giving of their time.

I don't think I've ever read your story, but did you and your W ultimately reconcile then?

My very best wishes to you smile

Jack - I just wanted to add my own personal note of thanks for your return to the forum. Your kind, insightful and direct posts to my thread have in a short time helped me turn around what was looking like a hopeless situation that was spiraling down into despair into one that I believe is making me stronger and better able to face an uncertain future.

God bless.

Thanks you all. I normally don't do well/respond to thanks or sorry.

I appreciate it/them, but normally don't respond. I figured a reminder for some and note to the newer people.

Sorry and a dollar will get a cup of coffee...I'm not indifferent, I'm sorry for all of you but rather than wallow, lets get to work.

But...thank you.
