But it's such a fun group.

Hope your back feels better soon. Shovelling snow will do that to you. Of course, trying to shift an inch or so of ice isn't any better. At least I warmed up while doing it smile.

I knew there had to be one LOL. That and the calories I burned while shifting those ice chips - which is what the ice was after I went at with the ice breaker tool. Great way to take out the frustration of dealing with an MLCer who keeps insisting on telling me about the OW.

I was relieved of any ice chipping. We had two days of rain and it stayed warm enough it hasn't frozen. I suppose if I'd have waited to shovel and rake the snow off the eaves the rain might have taken care of most of it for me... but then, the stuff I do still have to shovel is heavy now, so maybe it's good I didn't wait. confused

The misery continues in the Great White North. Still thousands of homes without power and now they're saying it could be days before everything gets restored. And the temperatures are set to drop so the ice isn't going to melt anytime soon which means we're being told that more trees and branches could come down, which could in turn bring down more power lines.

Any one have a recipe for cooking turkey on a camping stove, just in case our power goes out again? LOL laugh

NQ, you may have a candle-lit Christmas. Just don't burn the house down! You may be roasting hot dogs on the grill! shocked

TTD, "I'm dreaming of a wet Christmas" just doesn't have the same ring to it. laugh

I agree MH smile We've been singing that today, lol. My son's version is "I'm dreaming of a sweet turkey!" lol. He loves his turkey, from the 1st December onwards he's always nagging me to order it. I will never forget to order it when he's around, lol.

Well hot dogs on a grill would be a new tradition.
