Thus for the rest of us...the flashbacks, the shudders, the nightmares don't really qualify as PTSD...they ARE a stress reaction to be sure. But quite likely, as Tal said, part of the natural healing process from this kind of stressor.

Yup, I think this is me!

Thanks Shiny and Jeannine for covering this topic!

Hugs to you both!

Nice poem
Thanks for stopping by my thread in New Comers
it took me awhile to see it
that was my 1st thread & I'd stopped posting there
but happened to be reviewing the journey so far
& was surprised to see your post there

I'll have to read the rest of your thread here later today
my cat mina is demanding that I give her attention & go to bed
the downfall of having worked many years 3rd shift is that
when i get upset i stay up all nite like use to work

I'm not looking forward to today's meeting with hubby at doc's office
actually it's the fact that we need to talk after the doc appt
which i know he's not quite looking forward to
but in fact needs to be done - money discussion

anyway if you want to get up to speed on whats happening this year
2004 MLC Thread
it's turning out to be a crazy 2004
could use some other eyes on the sitch

I believe that I am suffering from post traumatic stress syndrome and that makes recovery a little bit more difficult than I had previously anticipated.

I think this is something which is normal for us LBS to go thru
I saw a post which let me know that some of my crazy feelings
are NORMAL (was wondering if I was crazy @ wanting my space)
so vent away here on the board
it helps those of us who are behind you
know that we're not crazy & that we are NOT alone
in our crazy mixed up reactions while doing the Marriage Dance
I've not yet read all your thread to know all the details
of your sitch, so I'm guessing WAH in MLC &/or Affair
I think it's a weird Dance we do as we try
to come back together after being apart
we've gotten into new routines & know we wnat to come back
but aren't quite sure how to do it
& we're not sure what we want to give up in doing so

Keep the inspiring poems & posts coming

You seem to be doing an amazing job. Wish my WAW would see working through it is the thing to do. Oh well. Got to let them go if they want to.

Hang in there.

Hi Jeannine,

I hope you are having a wonderful time and things are going well in your new relationship.

I am going to try leaving again, we all know how well that works, but wanted to make a post to all my wonderful friends here.

Thank you for all the times you have been there for me.
