Hi chl,

Congratz on finally finishing reading DB. Did you managed to get your hands on DR?

Glade that you had a great weekend smile I'm sure you will be able to achieve your 180s soon with consistency

Not forgetting, keep up the good work on losing 30lbs!

Good job on the weight loss!!! You guys are babies....try reconciling your body at 47...I'd be happy with a 30 something butt... wink

My guess is H possibly had a poor interaction with OW. I would see an increase in positive behaviour when things were not going well in the land of sugar plums and fairies. Take it for what it is , I always did, and I made sure that I was PMA and wonderful (just to contrast as much as I could wink )

Haha! Thank you and I'm thinking the sooner I get to where I want to be and in a permanent routine, hopefully it will be a little easier to maintain as I get older. smile

Journal: Feeling down today, just about my whole sitch. H was in a mood (again) last night and didn't really say much to me. He just seemed annoyed and I didn't do anything to provoke him. This AM woke up in a bit of a funk and haven't snapped out of it yet.

Had someone at the gym in my exercise class compliment my weight loss last night which was nice. I believe her words were, "You've lost a lot of weight, haven't you?" Makes me feel good to have others notice my (very) hard work! Going out to eat at a fave restaurant tonight for my sister's bday and will be tempted with carbs and cake. I may have just a small slice. wink

Hoping to get my PMA back today and feel better instead of so blah!

Hi chl0901! Thanks for stopping by my thread. It's great to meet new people and support one another. I just caught up. And I have to say... you are doing a tremendous job!

It's Hump Day. Always a good day for feeling in the funk. wink Needgrace once told me the emotions are like waves. And they are. We just have to ride them out. Each emotion positive or negative, serves it's purpose in our growth. Sit with them... even the tough ones. Then pull out your PMA when you've had enough.

We are kindred spirits... I interrupt too! It's been a big 180 for me since April. I'm not cured, but better! It's just that I love a good story! Well... I like to finish them! LOL!

Thanks, RT! I don't really feel like I am but I can say I am at least trying!

Haha! I like that! I've always always always had trouble with this. I honestly don't mean to be rude (even though I understand it is), but I cannot help it! I am having to make myself stop and think before saying something which is really difficult for me!

I feel you....I am going through something very similar to this. Trying to "act as if" it isn't bringing me down. It's hard. Keep your chin up:)

Thanks, britt! I'm also trying to do the same by acting as if his moods don't affect me - it gets really hard sometimes though!

Yes...tugs at the heart strings... and I sometimes feel dumb faking it all the time cause this is my husband. The man we are supposed to be able to talk to about anything in the world. And right now we can't....doesn't sound like great marriage communication to me...but I guess we have to do what we have to do. I may not have great advice for you right now...but I'm listening!

My H does this all the time. We go between calm silence (in which we don't say much to each other but at least we are not arguing) and his moods (which take all of me not to react to). His moods make me feel bad bc I think "wow, I don't even have to do anything and he's just "that" unhappy with me and us and our marriage." I feel like I'm in a nightmare sometimes.

I hope you did end up feeling better yesterday and hope you have a good day today.
