I've been super busy with the kids, work, sports, and GAL. It's been wonderful and I feel really good. I've kept my interaction with STBX to a minimum, although he keeps attempting to sit near me and all of the moms at sporting events. It was uncomfortable at first but I just watch the game and don't give it any thought now.

AL it does get easier. I struggled seeing my ex at sporting events. I would always arrive first and she would always sit near me.

His response was "my attorney has advised me not to remove anything further from the home that are not necessities. I did not ask you to pack my belongings. It is still my house too"
LOL

Can you put the stuff on the side of the house under a tarp?

I am proud to not give in to it, but he is clearly going to make every step difficult along the way. I get to choose my reaction, and for that I am thankful!!

Glad to hear you are prepared for CB from him and you'll know how to respond.

Glad to hear it gets easier, and I guess in some ways it already has. I am so focused on the game, I don't care who is sitting near me! I am so very proud that my son made the JV squad, and the Varsity coach really likes him a lot, so I wouldn't be shocked if he gets to dress for a few games. I really hope!

LOL the whole thing was so silly, I couldn't take it seriously. I suppose he didn't get the reaction he hoped for or expected because I am getting odd little emails this morning. It's like throwing chum into the water and waiting. He can keep waiting, I am not biting! Wow this feels great!! smile

Just 2 days till S18's graduation party. I am so lucky to have great friends pitching in to help. They are making dishes, coming early to set up tents, picking up balloons and decorations. I don't think I have ever accepted so much help, and truly it makes the process more fun. I was missing out all these years! Good to know going forward!!

Always something...just journaling

Got an email from my L this morning who just heard from him L.
He is suggesting an overall settlement agreement to resolve all marital issues rather than approaching in separate venues (i.e support, exclusive possession, etc). He suggested that we do a half day on the day of support hearing 7/11, but my attorney has 2 other hearings that day and can't.

She is suggesting we push back that date and do as he suggests, providing temporary agreements are in place to cover me in the meantime re: use of the home and his financial responsibility.

The hope is to avoid further litigation and come to an agreement, and if we can't we will simply reschedule our conference.

I hate to push it back any more but if we can come to agreement in this way it will not only benefit us financially but move things along as well. Although my marriage in no longer in limbo, I feel as if I am until the support order is in place.

None of this changes anything for me, other than dates I may need off from work. I am still on the very same path with the same goal.

AL - The idea is superb...

I swear, my xH and I limped along for almost a year, and most everything got done over a span of a whole (two) meetings, really. (Of course, the limping along, was entirely his fault. smile )

Question:

If the date has to be changed, why can't it be moved up a day/days/a week or so, instead?

In IL, at least, the L's spent more time going back and forth, and together, than actually in the court itself. They just brought any unresolved issues to the Judge for "conference", and asked for his signature on those that were agreed upon.

Took a whopping 15 min total, I bet.

Just throwing it out there.

Also, I see my xh at sporting events non-stop. I've become excellent at looking through him. HA (Unless the boys are around, of course, then, I try my hardest to act "normal" and willing to interact, if required.)

Just wait until he sees your new MAGIC MIKE boyfriend. LOL He'll stay in his own space then.

Muuuuahhhh!

Hi Autumn, sounds like things are trudging along with he D. It's difficult when others (Ls, the Courts) have control over our lives. Especially when it interferes with moving on.

Have a great weekend.

Really? Pics? I thought you gals weren't visual creatures.
I like the thought of that. As long as you liked being cuddled. wink
