Good thinking G! Change of strategy, I'll start getting more male coffee dates. Hey, I'm up to 35 ladies interested now...and the night is still young! Lol.

We're up to 36 now, they're starting to climb over the barricades, I'm in full retreat! "All right men, fasten bayonets and hide the Profile...do it now!" Gotta go, I have to assign sentry duty for the night shift.

Oops, blew this one! I sent a lady an email and somehow mistakenly hit a button that attached a rose with the message "be mine" under it. No way to get that back! I guess I can kiss this one goodbye. Damn, it was a good email too! Who the heck would want a rose from a guy you don't even know that says "be mine". Oh well, who knows maybe she'll love it...nah. Ah, the trials of online dating.Lol

Hey, at least one of the two ladies I emailed checked my profile tonight...hooray! I emailed her and thanked her for doing so and slipped in another small point in my favour. Gotta grease the wheels! This lady is a social worker too. Hey, you go with what you know. We'll see.

Good for you Wii! That is how Online Dating works. It is one thing to read profiles and message a bit but it's the "IN PERSON" meetings that are going to tell you whether you "click" or not. You have to put yourself out there.

Word of warning - GO SLOW!!!! Don't bombard her with messages now. Be a bit mysterious. When we have waited a long time - we often get overanxious and Kill them with kindness. Don't do it! You're a really nice guy but some women will be scared off if you are over the top. Make a nice "Meet and greet" plan that doesn't last too long. Remember - leave them wanting more.

I'm happy for you. I have a really good feeling about this one. Now keep an open mind.

Fun!!! I'm sure you will 'wow' her with your charm. I like what Barb said though...GO SLOW! Keep some things close to the vest so she is curious and wants to know more. This should be drawn out over a few dates.

Have a great time and remember we're all pulling for you!

Thanks guys, now the one I sent the rose to accidentally is sniffing around. OMG, the stupid rose didn't turn her off? So I emailed her thanking her for viewing my profile etc., made a funny and again mentioned I'd enjoy meeting her if she'd like to to do so. We'll see. I don't want to set up too many things though...few and slow is good here!

That's exactly it - we are all pulling for you. Sometimes I come across a bit critical but it is because I've been down that road before and I am trying to warn you of what lies ahead - good and bad.

Don't be afraid to line up more than one date - heck - I had more than one in the same day during my couple of months of Online Dating. It is all about seeing who you are compatible with and want to see again.

Remember that no one likes to be bowled over - it makes them pull back and dating can be about pushing and pulling. Far better that everyone is on equal footing and you just enjoy the moment. You DO have a tendency to do too much. I am guilty of the same. I see it in my daughter as well. But it is the times we've held back a bit that things have gone better.

Keep us posted. I'm glad you are going to leave your turtle at home alone while you get off the couch and meet for a REAL date.
